Scary Mansion's debut "Every Joke Is Half the Truth" was a top 20 add for the week of January 21st and broke into the #58 on the CMJ top 200 for the week of January 29th! It also got some great reviews at Paper Thin Walls, Music for Robots, Time Out New York, and "Go To Hell" was a featured download on eMusic.
Catch Scary Mansion on tour! Leah had the flu and had to cancel her Delancey show, but otherwise all the tour dates on their site should be accurate.

So in cleaning I found a box of Giardini di Miro CDs. This originally came out in 1999, long out of print from this popular Italian band. Grab one while you can, I believe this is the last 20 copies I have left!
Nick Krgovich from P:ano sings with Phil Elverum on the new David Shrigley book / CD project Worried Noodles. "Whatcha Doin'" is the name of the track. They played at the release party in New York recently.
Also in the newsy world, Abe Vigoda has a track for download up on Pitchfork. Also, the Abe Vigoda/Mikaela's Fiend 7" charted #2 at KDVS in Davis! Scary Mansion is headed to SXSW 2008, and Leah's got a book coming out on Fantagraphics right around that time!
